ABOUT US

Your donation, event support and volunteer work are vital to our mission.

The Aledo ISD Education Foundation was established by business, civic and community leaders to support the mission of the Aledo Independent School District by supporting innovative educational projects and activities that are beyond traditional funding and/or for which tax dollars cannot be expanded.  Foundation funds will be used for educational enrichment programs such as innovative grants and programs to enhance student achievement, to recognize exemplary staff involvement and to foster community support and involvement.

A WORD FROM OUR PRESIDENT

Hello Aledo ISD Community,

It is with excitement and honor that I step into the role of President of the Aledo Education Foundation. As someone deeply invested and passionate in the success of our schools, students, teachers and administrators, I am thrilled to serve in this capacity and look forward to working alongside each and every one of you in the community to help make a meaningful impact within our district.

At the Aledo Education Foundation, our mission is to enrich teaching, inspire learning, and maximize innovative opportunities for all students and staff within the Aledo ISD and to help bridge the funding gap between what our schools receive and what they need.  With the support of our dedicated AEF Board Members and this “Amazing Community,” I am confident that we can continue to build on the incredible history of the Aledo Education Foundation to ensure our students and educators have the resources they need to thrive.

As President, one of my primary goals is to instill the communities continued trust in the Aledo Education Foundation to help grow our fundraising efforts, expanding the reach of our teacher grants, safety and security of our students and staff, classroom resources, and student scholarships. By working together, we can make a lasting difference in the lives of our students and teachers and help them achieve their full potential.

Thank you for your continued support of the Aledo Education Foundation and for joining me in this journey to make a positive and lasting impact on the students and staff of the Aledo ISD. I look forward to the year ahead and the incredible opportunities that this “Amazing Community,” will create together. Go Bearcats!

Sincerely,
Jack Huxel
President, Aledo Education Foundation
